Locals reported substantial frozen pellets as large as 7 centimeters in some areas. Weather authorities confirmed that multiple regions across the state had been affected by large hailstones.

Utility workers were attempting to repair electricity service throughout the affected regions, with nearly 70 crews activated to address the numerous electricity disruptions.
Southern State's Storm Challenges
Simultaneously, around one thousand energy customers in the southern state also encountered energy failures after Melbourne saw its heaviest rainfall in a year and a half.
State Emergency Services responded to over five hundred calls for help across the state, mainly for property damage but also for collapsed vegetation and flooding.

During the peak on Sunday, in excess of 28,000 electricity consumers in the state were without power.
Climate Outlook
Moist weather were expected to linger along much of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with continued thunderstorm potential predicted across various areas of both regions.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, specifically given the current weather patterns.
